About Us
About Us
Happy Hrs (Simple Edition) was born from a realization I’ve long held—that a major shift of the times seems to be approaching. Written on impulse, these are simply a few rough sketches set down while the feeling was still there.
Currently, I am writing another textbook focused on social systems titled The Road to Justice (justiceway.org), with the first draft nearly halfway complete. However, as the Xi–Trump meeting draws closer, this moment of change already seems to be unfolding, and the shape of where things are heading is slowly coming into view. Thus, I set aside my previous pen and, barely sleeping or eating, spent three straight days and nights putting together this short work, Happy Hrs.
What you see now is only a simple edition—a few historical turning points I’ve selected to share with you. In the future, I plan to dedicate more energy to continuing these writings on the modern story between China and America. This work also serves to carry forward the teachings and guidance passed down to me by my mentor, Liang Yuanzhou, and to honor the dreams of the elders and predecessors who came before us. By recording these histories, I hope to pass them forward and offer my deepest respect to the noble sacrifice of those forebears who gave everything through the hardships and survival of the Chinese people through difficult times.
The urge to write this piece goes back to words and hopes entrusted to me by elders more than thirty years ago. My goal is simply to lay out some of the things remembered — and forgotten — in the long story between China and America over the past century.
History is like an unfinished game of chess. I hope this little work brings you a bit of enjoyment in your leisure time.
Thank you to everyone who stops by. If any of this speaks to you, every word you you share is the motivation and source of this work; every bit of feedback is the solid foundation upon which this book is built. I welcome you to help carry these writings forward and write these unfinished chapters piece by piece. Any suggestions will be honored and acknowledged on a dedicated page of this website.
Thanks to the guidance and patient teachings of my elders and mentors, and under the leadership of esteemed community leaders, I was fortunate enough to serve as the Secretary, Board Member, and Office Administrator of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Any achievements I have today are entirely due to their support. To me, giving back to society through voluntary service is a lifelong principle. From drafting Bylaws and managing QuickBooks to handling Secretary of State (SOS) legal filings, over the years, these practical matters have simply become part of daily life for me.
Thank you all for your support and help!
