The Fifth: 1989—A century-scale grand strategy of advancing through retreat. The Sixth: 1993 to 2020—Twenty-six years since the Yinhe incident. The Seventh: 2008 to 2024—The period of acceleration. The Eighth: 2025—The year of the double turning point.

This thread was passed down from a lamp keeper named Liang Yuanzhou (Jimmy Leong). In 1994, at a community banquet in San Francisco, he handed this thread to Tiger Lyon. More than thirty years later, Tiger Lyon has gone on to see a grander landscape than his mentor, Liang Yuanzhou, saw back then. This book is Tiger Lyon laying out this thread. It is laid out not to persuade anyone, but for those who can understand to see for themselves.
